The purpose of New Consulting Training (NCT) is to provide new research analysts, research associates, and associates with the fundamental knowledge and skills they need to function effectively at The Brattle Group. NCT is a continuation of our annual Brattle 101 program where several other modules are presented. The modules presented during NCT include introductions to technical programs such as Excel, SAS, STATA as well as "soft skills" trainings such as project management, interview training, and writing skills. More advanced technical trainings are provided during the spring/early summer of each consultant's first year.
The NCT modules are generally taught by consulting and non-consulting staff who are experts in the particular areas.
This organized training allows new staff to get up to speed quickly, acquaints them with our standard methodologies, and tunes them in immediately to our high standards for quality and consistency. The program also helps strengthen and broaden knowledge and job-related skills.
